I spent the early part of my career in audio engineering and music production and eventually shifted into software development and user experience design, where I spend my days building digital things.

I stumbled into leathercraft in 2020 and what started as a YouTube rabbit hole quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. The tools, the textures, the quiet focus it demands—it all just clicked. And I’ll admit, the smell of leather is downright intoxicating.

What really drew me in was the timeless nature of leather and how it stands apart in a world where most things are designed to be replaced. It can last a lifetime, maybe longer, and grows more beautiful with age. A wallet might leave my workbench looking just like the one before it, but it takes on a life of its own in your pocket. That uniqueness, that evolution, fascinates me.
